The Ministry of Indian Railways has announced that India's oxygen express will transport the Liquid Medical Oxygen (LMO) for "the first time ever'' to its neighboring country Bangladesh. Reportedly, the train will leave with 10 containers rake for Benapole to deliver 200 metric tonnes of LMO. Notably, India started the train on April 24, 2021, for supplying oxygen across the country.

To ramp up oxygen supply in hospitals, Indian Railways will start 'Oxygen Express' to transport liquid medical oxygen and oxygen cylinders in the country.
