J&K DDC Poll: BJP Wins 75; Gupkar Declaration Settles With 110 Seats

The Jammu and Kashmir State Election Commission has announced results for 278 out of 280 constituencies in District Development Council elections. In the first elections after the abrogation of Article 370, the BJP has emerged as the single largest party with 75 seats. Besides, the Gupkar Declaration has won 110 seats. While the independent candidates won 50 seats, the Indian National Congress has settled with 26 seats.

Farooq Abdullah Accuses BJP for Portraying PAGD as Anti-National

Farooq Abdullah, the President of National Conference (NC) and elected chairperson of Peoples' Alliance for Gupkar Declaration (PAGD) blamed BJP for portraying the alliance as anti-national.
