COVID-19 Cases Crosses 250 Million In The World
Covid-19 cases in the world crossed 250 million on November 8. The daily average fall to 36 percent over the past three months, reported Reuters. Owing to the Delta Variant, infections are reaching record levels in 55 countries out of 240 countries such as Russia, Ukraine, and Greece. However, experts analyzed many countries leaving the pandemic behind due to the increase in Corona Virus vaccination drives.

WHO Chief Addresses Post COVID Mental Scars, Seeks Joint Pandemic Effort
Addressing the 74th World Health Assembly, WHO chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus on May 31 said, "one day the COVID-19 pandemic will be behind us." Citing the post-COVID impact, Ghebreyesus said the psychological scars will remain for those who lost their loved ones. It was letting go of the small vulnerabilities that allowed a small outbreak to become a pandemic, he added. He further emphasised on joint action and pandemic treaty.

Supreme Court Turns 71; Virtually Heard 43,713 Cases During COVID-19
Turning 71 on January 28, the Supreme Court in its statement said it has been protecting rights and liberties while abiding to the rule of law and constitutional values since its genesis in 1950. Report Says Zoom Users Anxious During Calls, Technical Glitches
Results from a survey conducted by a UK-based design agency Buffalo 7 has revealed over 70% of the video-conferencing app Zoom users faced a "Zoom Anxiety". Not knowing to fix a technical issue, presenting on a video call, and being unable to read the caller’s body language have been the major reasons cited by the subjects. Moreover, respondents have felt Zoom calls worse than telephonic calls and in-person meetings.
