WHO Alerts For Another Deadlier Than COVID-19 Pandemic
The head of the World Health Organisation (WHO), Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, issued a warning that the world must get ready for the next pandemic, which might be "even deadlier" than the COVID-19 pandemic, at a time when COVID cases are somewhat stabilising around the world. "The end of COVID-19 as a global health emergency is not the end of COVID-19 as a global health threat," Mr Tedros said.

Singapore PM Lee Tests Covid-19 Positive
Singapore’s Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong has tested positive for COVID-19 after recent visit to South Africa and Kenya, confirmed sources. He tweeted and posted a statement on Facebook, “I tested positive for COVID-19 for the first time this morning." Mr Lee, 71, said doctors have prescribed him the antiviral medication because of his age, and prescribed for home isolation.

India Covid-19 Cases Decreases To 21,406 Active Cases
India witnessed a dip in the Coronavirus cases, after it recorded 2,109 fresh cases. With this, the active cases dipped to 21,406 from 22,742, confirmed the Union Health Ministry data on Wednesday. The COVID-19 tally now stands at 4.49 crore (4,49,74,909). Furthermore, the death toll climbed to 5,31,722 with eight fatalities. In addition, the active cases rate is at 0.8%, recovery at 98% and fatality rate at 1.18%.

India Covid-19 Active Cases Crosses 40k Mark
India reported the highest, 7830 new cases of the Novel Coronavirus, confirmed the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW). With the new cases, India's active Covid-19 cases stood at 40,215. In addition, besides new cases, the nation registered 16 new fatalities. With this, the recovery rate dropped to 98.72%, fatality rate is at 1.19% and active case rate is 0.7%, raising concerns and urging people to be cautious.

India Registers 6,050 New COVID-19 Cases In 24 Hours
India continues to register over 5,000 new cases of Coronavirus. The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare confirmed 6,050 new single day cases, over 600 cases than the previous day's 5,335 cases. India COVID-19 Cases Rises With Over 1,500 New Cases
India is continuing to record a hike in the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases, with `1,590 single-day cases. On March 25, the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare confirmed 1,590 new cases, with six fatalities. With this, active cases is now at 8,601 and fatalities increased to 5,30,824, with daily positivity rate at 1.33%. The Union Health Department urged people to take precautions and follow the proper guidelines of COVID-19.

Indian Skipper Mohammed Shami Tests Negative For Covid-19
India's star bowler Mohammed Shami tested negative for COVID-19, the pacer announced on his Instagram account on September 28. The World Health Organisation (WHO) warned of rising Covid-19 cases in 110 nations, on June 30. The officials at WHO said, "This pandemic is changing but it's not over. Active Covid-19 Cases Tally Crosses 1 Lakh Mark With 18,889 New Cases: India

Union Ministry Writes To States, UTs Amid Covid-19 Rise
Amid the rising number of Covid-19 cases, the Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan has written to all States and Union Territories, on June 9. As per the source, the Union Health Ministry urged all states/UTs to work for the progress of controlling the pandemic, and bring back restrictions to prevent Covid-19 spread.
