Paragliding Banned After Tragic Accident In Kangra, Himachal Pradesh
After the death of two persons in a paragliding accident at Bir-Billing on March 8, the Kangra District Administration has decided to ban paragliding activities till further orders. Paragliding, Hot Balloon Flights Restricted During PM Modi's Visit: Pune
PM Modi is scheduled to visit Pune on March 6 to launch various developmental projects including Pune Metro. Ahead of PM's visit, District Collector Dr. Rajesh Deshmukh has issued an order to stop all paragliding activities and hot air balloon flights. "Legal action will be taken against anyone who violates the order under Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code," the order states.

Himachal Pradesh Permits Paragliding At Two Destinations In Mandi
The Himachal Pradesh Tourism Department has permitted Mandi district to allow commercial paragliding at its famous Prashar and Spenidhar destinations.
