Parkash Singh Badal

A Special Investigation Team (SIT) in the Kotkapura police firing case has summoned former Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal. Badal is scheduled to appear before the SIT on June 16. Badal was the Chief Minister when the police opened fire on a group of protesters, which killed two and left several others injured. The investigation is being conducted to find out who gave the orders to shoot.
