Arvind Kejriwal To Lead AAP's Shanti March In Punjab's Patiala
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has planned to take out 'Shanti March' (peace rally) in Punjab's Patiala on December 31. This came after a man was lynched for attempting to desecrate Guru Granth Sahib at Golden Temple as well as a bomb blast in Ludhiana. The rally will be led by AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal and will also be joined by senior leader Bhagwant Mann.

Punjab: Man Throws Acid On Wife For Not Bearing Son But 2 Daughters
The Punjab’s Patiala police has booked an attempt to murder case against a man for acid attack on his wife. The accused, a farmer from Naugavan village, escaped after attacking his wife with acid on April 13. Father of two girls, the drug addict accused often blamed her wife for not bearing son and finally threw acid. Sustaining 58% burns mainly on chest and head, the victim is undergoing treatment.

Punjab Vigilance Bureau Arrests Two For Demanding Bribe
Following a complaint by a villager, the Punjab Vigilance Bureau arrested a Municipal Corporation inspector, Sunil Kumar Gulati, in Patiala for demanding and accepting Rs 25,000 as bribe. According to the reports, Sunil had demanded the complainant to for a bribe to obtain permission to have a side-door for his shop. Reportedly, the inspector's middle man, Rakesh Behal has also been arrested and further investigation is underway.
