Delhi Police Personnel Saves Injured Peacock In Burari Area

In north Delhi's Burari, Delhi Police personnel managed to save the life of a peacock who became unconscious due to electrocution, said the police on January 5. Reportedly, the police personnel of the Burari police was informed by locals about the injured peacock on January 3. Tamil Nadu: 28 Peafowls Found Dead in Kovilpatti; Investigation Begins

Atleast 28 peafowls were found dead on September 16 at Kovilpatti in Tamil Nadu. According to sources the official team had reached the site and have started investigating the matter. Officials are of the view that the peafowls might have consumed seeds laced with pesticides. However, the reason of death is still unconfirmed. Reportedly, the officials are also investigating that whether the birds were poisoned intentionally.
