Two Arrested While Carrying 1 Kg Of Drugs In Uttar Pradesh
In Barabanki region, two alleged drug peddlers were arrested, confirmed police. During the search, the police also sized over one kilogram of morphine estimated to be worth Rs 1 crore on April 8. The search was conducted on a tip-off by the Ramsanehighat police, following which the accused, identified as Asharam and Harjeet were arrested from an intersection near Thorthia village. A case has been registered and investigation is underway.

Mumbai Cop Arrested For Supplying Drugs Worth Rs 1 Crore: Maharashtra
Police Constable Amit Kumar Singh and his friend Harmesh Kumar have been arrested by Mumbai police for alleged involvement in drug supply worth Rs 1 crore, on May 11. The arrest has been made after Amit's name popped up after peddlers Pramod Kalicharan Sharma and Ismail Khan were arrested with heroine worth Rs 1.67 crore. Furthermore, Sanju alias Tillu who allegedly supplied drugs to the duo, is wanted.
