Chinese Archaeologists Find Traces Of 8,000-Year-Old Alcohol

In the Peiligang cultural site of China's Henan Province, Archaelogogists found evidence of alcohol in 8,000-year-old clay pots. Reportedly, the pots contain items that were used to make alcohol such as monascus hypha, and cleistothecia, together with fermented starch grains from rice.
