In a viral video, an elderly woman who walks miles to get her pension goes viral on social media platforms. Netizens take a dig at the government officials and criticized the banking, as the woman in her late 70s struggle for pension. After the viral video, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman reacted and said, "Starting in the following month, the pension will be delivered to her door."

Ex-MLAs Entitled Only For 1 Term's Pension Amount: Punjab CM

Ex MLAs in Punjab will now receive pension for only one term, irrespective of the number of terms they've served. Usually, ex MLAs receive a pension of Rs 75,000 per month for one term and thereafter, 66% of the pension amount for each consequent terms. Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann said, "Ex MLAs in Punjab, even if they won five or ten times, will get pension for one term only".

RBI To Change NACH Rule From August 1

RBI has changed the rule of the National Automated Clearing House (NACH), from August 1. Salaries and pensions will be credited to individuals’ bank account not only on weekdays but throughout the week. RBI governor, Shantikanta Das, asserted that to enhance the convenience of customers and to experience the benefit of 24x7 Real Time Gross Settlement, NACH will be working seven days a week.
