CoWIN Portal Did Not Revealed Personal Data, Says Central Govt
To the claims of opposition, the Government of India said, the CoWIN-portal does not have any personal details of the people, including date of birth and address. Users Express Anger On Twitter Against Airtel's Privacy Policy
Users have expressed outrage against Airtel after it surfaced that the company can allegedly collect sensitive personal data and information (SPDI) and share it with other parties. Reportedly, the company's privacy policy allows it to collected data and share that with third parties - in and outside India - for services. Meanwhile, Airtel, while addressing the users' concerns, confirmed to revaluate the policy and "make necessary amends".
