After Congress leader Rahul Gandhi shared a video, introducing their new family member 'Noorie,' a pet for his mother, a news portal and official Instagram page, People For Animals, alleged that Rahul Gandhi purchased the dog, a Jack Russell, illegally in Goa. "It's unfortunate that he knowingly broke the law and showed such little respect for it by filming himself doing so," read a post shared by PFA.

UP Man Killed After Argument Over Dog Poop With Neighbour
In Uttar Pradesh's Muzaffarnagar, Ashu, a resident of Titawi village, allegedly killed Sukrampal (48) over the dog poop issue. On June 21, the police confirmed the incident, saying, a man was shot after an argument with a neighbour over his pet defecating in the sand, purchased for Sukrampal's under-construction house. The Station House Officer (SHO) Mukesh Solanki registered a case and formed a team to nab the absconding accused.

Pet Lover Books Entire Air-India Business Class To Travel With His Dog
Ironically, a passenger booked the entire business class cabin of Air India's flight AI-671 to pleasurably travel with his pet dog on September 15 from Mumbai to Chennai. Reportedly, the passenger paid around Rs 2.4 lakh to book all 12 seats of the cabin. However, airlines only allow the pet in planes after levying extra costs and allocate the last row of the cabin.
