Pfizer And AstraZeneca Prove To Be More Than 90% Effective Against Delta Variant
Analysis of the Public Health England stated that Pfizer is 96% effective and AstraZeneca is 92% effective against hospitalisation from the Delta variant of COVID-19 on June 14. They also stated the necessity of getting the second dose on time for the complete effectiveness of the vaccines. These percentages are comparable with vaccine effectiveness against hospitalisation from the Alpha variant, which was first identified in the UK.

Joe Biden Adds Extra 20Mn Vaccine Doses For Global Supply
The US government has extended its global vaccine supply quota to 80 million as President Joe Biden on May 17 announced an additional 20 million doses. Notably, 60 million AstraZeneca vaccines doses were approved earlier. The entirety of the doses will be supplied within next six weeks and it will include Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson's vaccines as well. Currently, the vaccine doses are awaiting safety clearances.

Pfizer Offers Its RNA COVID-19 Vaccine To India At 'No Profit' Price
American pharmaceutical company Pfizer Inc. on April 22 offered to provide its RNA (mRNA) COVID-19 vaccine to India at a 'not for profit' price. Reportedly, the offer is to adopt a distinct pricing structure for different countries. The company claims to make the vaccine available to all income sections of people as they are committed to work towards equitable and affordable access for the vaccine around the world.

Portugal: Health Worker Dies After Taking Pfizer-BioNTech Vaccine

Singapore Kicks Off Vaccination With Pfizer's COVID-19 Vaccine
Singapore on December 30 became the first Asian country to begin its vaccination programme with Pfizer-BioNTech's COVID-19 vaccine. Brazil: Bolsonaro Says Pfizer Vaccine To Turn People Into Crocodiles
Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro incredulously stated that the 'Pfizer-BioNTech' vaccine could turn people into crocodiles or bearded ladies. "In the Pfizer contract, it's very clear: 'we're not responsible for any side effects. It's your problem," he said. UK Health Officials Announces Allergy Warning Over Pfizer Vaccine
After two health-workers in the UK got an allergic reaction to Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, British health officials have alarmed people with a history of an allergic reaction to any vaccine or drugs not to inoculate themselves.
