Delhi HC Reserves Order In Bail Plea Of NSE Former CEO Chitra Ramakrishna
A Delhi court on reserved its order on the bail plea of National Stock Exchange's (NSE) former CEO and MD Chitra Ramkrishna. The duo were arrested in in connection with a money laundering case in connection with the co-location scam that also involved phone tapping of NSEs employees between 2009 and 2017. The Delhi court last reviewed the matter on August 25, and reserved the orders.

Illegal Phone Tapping Case: CBI Questions Ex Police Commissioner Sanjay Panday
Days after Mumbai police commissioner Sanjay Panday's retirement, he is on the radar of central agencies in an alleged phone tapping case. CBI lodged a case against Panday for allegedly tapping into the phones of National Stock Exchange (NSE) employees between 2009 and 2017. On July 9, Panday appeared before CBI for questioning. Notably, Panday is a 1986-batch Indian Police Service officer, who retired from his post on June 30.

Sanjay Raut's Phone Tapped On Anti-Social Elements Suspicion: Mumbai Police
Mumbai Police tapped the phones of Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut and NCP leader Eknath Khadse in 2019, on the information by SID of them being anti-social elements, said Mumbai police on April 19. Notably, Raut & Khadse's phones were tapped for 60 and 67 days, respectively. Reacting to this, Sanjay Raut claimed it to be a bogus agenda of the BJP to frame him and other leaders falsely.
