Bombay HC Rejects Woman's Request For Annulment, Calling It Implausible
Bombay High Court dismissed an appeal filed by a lady who said she was compelled to marry the guy who physically attacked her since she was 14 years old, seeking dissolution of her marriage. Justices stated that no rational man would believe and accept her evidence since it was "improbable, unbelievable, and unacceptable." Despite her ordeal, the woman remained mute and passive and claimed he took pornographic images of her.

BBMP Officials Slap Boy To Undergo COVID-19 Test; Video Goes Viral
The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagar Palike has drawn flak after a video of two contract officials physically assaulting a teenager to undergo COVID-19 test went viral on May 24. In the video, the boy can be seen being slapped and pushed around near the makeshift sample collection table at Dharmaraya Swamy Temple in Chickpet constituency. In another similar incident, BBMP's officials were seen harassing a man in the same area.

K'taka: COVID Patient's Relative Attacks On-Duty Lady Doctor
The Ballari Police has arrested the accused who assaulted an on-duty doctor at VIMS hospital in the city. The accused, identified as 33-year-old Thippeswamy, is the son of a COVID-19 patient who died on May 23 at the hospital. Condemning the attack, IMA has urged the government to take stringent actions in this regard. Meanwhile, the CCTV footage of the incident has become viral on social media, creating huge uproar.

Bengal BJP Worker's Mother Dies Following Alleged Attack By TMC Members
The Bharatiya Janata Party on March 29 attacked TMC after BJP party worker's 82-year-old mother succumbed to her injuries, which were allegedly caused by TMC members. The BJP alleged that TMC workers had staged an assault at the deceased's house in North 24 Parganas district in February, following which she was hospitalized for nearly a month. While Amit Shah slammed TMC in his tweet, TMC said that BJP is "trying to cash on a death".

Bangalore Woman Blames Food Delivery Man Of Assualt, Nasal Bone Break
Bangalore-based make-up artist Hitesha Chandranee has claimed of being physically assaulted by a Zomato delivery executive. Posting a video on Instagram, Hitesha stated that the executive broke into her house, and abused her after she confronted him over a delay in an order. On the contrary, reports stated that she hit the delivery man with a slipper and while the executive responded in self-defence, she got hurt breaking her nasal bone.
