Teachers In Ambala Educate Disabled Kids At Home Amid COVID-19

In an attempt to educate physically challenged children amid the COVID-19 at home, the Ambala Education department with16 teachers visits ''once a week'' to these children's houses. During the visit, teachers help them in their studies and counsel them on how to take bathe, put on their clothes, etc. However, a teacher said ''it's a pleasure to meet these kids'' but "sometimes they face problems with alcoholic parents".

Sensory Park For Specially-Abled Children Opens In Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar Smart City Limited (BSCL) under the Smart City program has built a sensory park for differently-abled children. Reportedly, Rs 93 lakh has been invested in building the park which is located in the Shaheen Nagar area. The park features wheel-chair, two-seater, bucket, multiline swings, single-seater spring rider, and several others. Besides, the surface of the park is covered with sand for the safety of children.
