Pink Ball Test

While playing against Australia in Queensland's Carrara, Smriti Mandhana became the first Indian woman to hit a century in a pink-ball women's cricket Test on October 1. Mandhana took 170 balls to score the Test century. Madhana said, ''I just don't look at the scorecard...I didn't really plan anything.'' Reportedly, she kept a pink ball in her kit bag for three months to make herself familiar with it. 

The International Cricket Council has approved the Motera stadium pitch giving it an 'average' rating. Reportedly, the pitch drew controversy after the recently concluded India-England pink-ball test that was completed in two days.
