Pipalshah Village

In a peculiar instance, a Khap panchayat in Pipalshah village of UP's Muzaffarnagar has banned jeans and shorts for women and men respectively as they represent western culture. The panchayat, predominant by Rajput community, also warned of social boycott if one is found violating the diktat.
