First Teaser Of Ishaan Khatter's 'Pippa' On Independence Day, Watch Here
On the 76th Independence Day, makers of 'Pippa' dropped the first teaser of the upcoming war film. The film stars Bollywood actor Ishaan Khatter as Captain Balram Singh Mehta. The film is based on true events inspired by the war memoir 'The Burning Chaffees,' written by Brigadier Balram Singh Mehta. The story narrates about 48-hour-long Battle of Garibpur, fought on the eastern front of India during the Indo-Pakistan 1971 War.

Ishaan Khatter-starrer 'Pippa' To Release In Theatres Next Year
The makers of actor Ishaan Khatter-starrer ''Pippa'' on December 16 announced that the film will release next year in theatres on December 9. It's based on the life of Brigadier Balaram Singh who fought on the eastern front during the Indo-Pakistan War of 1971. The film, directed by Raja Krishna Menon and produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur, also stars Mrunal Thakur, Priyanshu Painyuli, Soni Razdan and others.

‘Pippa’ to Feature Ishaan Khatter, Mrunal Thakur and Priyanshu Painyuli in Lead Roles
The makers of 'Pippa' have signed Ishaan Khatter, Mrunal Thakur and Priyanshu Painyuli for lead roles. The movie which will be directed by Raja Krishna Menon is an adaptation of the book 'The Burinng Chaffees' written by war veteran Brigadier Balram Singh Mehta. Reportedly, Ishaan will be portraying the role of Brigadier Mehta in the movie. Ronnie Screwvala's RSVP and Siddharth Roy Kapur's Roy Kapur Films will produce the movie.
