Disney's Rumored USD 301 Million Offer To Johnny Depp 'Made Up': Depp's Rep

Johnny Depp has not been offered a USD 301 million apology contract by Disney. "This is made up," one of Depp's agents said of the rumored transaction. According to a report, Disney gave Depp the agreement along with an apology letter and a proposal to rejoin the "Pirates of the Caribbean" franchise. According to the source, Depp has rejected to join the franchise regardless of how rich the offer is.

This revelation has outraged Johnny Depp fans. Majority of netizens ridiculed the casting suggestion, claiming that no one could ever replace Johnny.

Johnny Depp Will Testify Again In Amber Heard's Defamation Trial

The defamation trial of Hollywood star Johnny Depp against ex-wife Amber Heard is going to begin on May 23. The former "Pirates of the Caribbean" star will be summoned as a third witness by the defense in the Virginia-based trial, where he last testified nearly two weeks ago. Depp has charged Heard for defamation after she made an op-ed allusion to their alleged abusive relationship.

Statue Of 18th Century Lesbian Pirate Couple Restored In Britain

To express the gender-neutrality of Britain, a statue of two lesbian pirates -  Anne Bonny and Mary Read - has been restored at London's Execution Docks. Designed by artist Amanda, the couple sculptured were among the most famous pirates of the 1700s. History professor Kate Williams said, “They broke gender boundaries and stunned people at the time.” The statue will be moved to Burgh Island in 2021.
