Mumbai FC Announces Loan Extension To Assam Born Player Vinit Rai
Mumbai City FC announced to extend loan spell to Vinit Rai for the upcoming season. The announcement on July 12 came after fellow Indian Super League side Odisha FC has agreed to extend a loan spell for the upcoming season to Assam-born player from Odisha FC. Notably, Rai joined Odisha FC on loan in January and made 10 appearances for Mumbai City FC 2021-22 ISL seasons.

IPL Player Vikas Tokas Accuses Delhi Police Of Physical Assault
Vikas Tokas, an Indian Premier League (IPL) player, on January 28 alleged that Delhi police personnel assaulted him for refusing to pay a fine over the mask issue that left him injured. However, the police termed the allegations as "baseless". They further said that bowler sustained injuries during an attempt to bring him to the police station.
