British PM Johnson To Attend 2021 Republic Day As Chief Guest

India has formally invited the UK PM Boris Johnson to be the chief guest at 2021 Republic Day. The invitation was extended over a telephonic conversation by PM Narendra Modi on November 27. This would be first since John Major's visit in 1993 that a British PM will attend the Republic Day celebration. PM Narendra Modi in return has been invited to the G-7 summit by the British PM.
