PM Modi Announces Ex Gratia Of Rs 2 Lakh To Victims Of Chandausi, Secunderabad Incident

PM Narendra Modi announced ex gratia to the victims of Chandausi and Secunderabad incident. On March 18, Prime Minister's Office (PMO) announced to give Rs 2 lakh to those who lost their kin in the Secunderabad fire incident, whereas Rs 50,000 was announced for injured. The amount will be given under the PM Cares Fund. In addition, the PM of India also directed to provide medical treatment to injured.

PM Modi Announces Compensation For Victims Of Dhanbad Fire Accident

PM Narendra Modi announced an ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh, for those who died in a fire accident and Rs 50,000 for injured people in the Dhanbad fire accident. On the evening of January 31, a massive fire broke out in a multi-storeyed building in Dhanbad district, Jharkhand, killing 14 people, including three children. Approximately 15 fire tenders were rushed to spot to ablaze fire and an investigation was launched.

PM Modi Announces Rs 2 Lakh Ex-Gratia For Kota Road Accident Victims

PM Narendra Modi, on February 21, announced an ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh to the families, who lost their kin in the Kota road accident. In addition, he also announced Rs 50,000 to injured under the PM National Relief Fund (PMNRF).  Modi took to his Twitter and expressed condolences to the families of the victims. On February 20, nine people died after their car fell in Chambal river, Kota,Rajasthan.

Bihar Hospital Finally Installs 25 Ventilators Received 9 Months Ago

Provided under the PM CARES Fund nine months ago, the 25 ventilators have now been installed at the Darbhanga Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) in Bihar on May 24. However, the hospital officials stated that the scarcity of oxygen supply and other technical issues caused the delay in the installation of ventilators. Meanwhile, two patients have been placed on the newly-installed ventilators.

DRDO To Set Up 500 Medical Oxygen Plants In 3 Months: Defence Minister

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on April 28 said that the DRDO will install 500 medical oxygen plants from the money allocated out of the PM Cares Fund. To be installed within next three months, the DRDO will use its indigenous technology designed for Light Combat Aircraft ‘Tejas’ to overcome the COVID-led oxygen crisis. The DRDO’s medical oxygen plants are designed to generate 1,000 litres of oxygen per minute.

Govt Allocates Funds To Create 551 Oxygen Plants Through PM Cares

The Centre on April 25 allocated funds from PM Cares Fund to establish 551 Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) Medical Oxygen Generation plants in country. To be installed at identified district-level government hospitals across the country, PM Narendra Modi has directed the officials to establish the plants at earliest to overcome the oxygen crisis. The PM cares had earlier this year allocated Rs 201.58 crore to install 162 oxygen plants.
