Indian National Congress (INC) Chief Mallikarjun Kharge finally spoke about why he missed PM Narendra Modi's Independence Day speech at the Red Fort. When asked about why he wasn't at Red Fort for the Independence Day celebration, Kharge said, "He couldn't attend the function at Red Fort due to security reasons. It takes two hours to reach the venue and he couldn't leave earlier."

On the 76th Independence Day, PM Narendra Modi hoisted the national flag at the Red Fort and delivered his 15th August speech. This is the 10th consecutive speech delivered by Narendra Modi, and will also be his last before the 2024 National Elections. During the speech, PM assured to take action and protect the women from rising crimes in Manipur. He also said, GoI will fight corruption, hindering nation's development.

The Foundation stone for the Noida International Airport was laid by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on November 25. "It will put Noida and western Uttar Pradesh on the map, and will be the "logistics gateway of northern India," the PM said in a statement. "Farmers in the region will be able to export their produce, such as vegetables and fruits, directly to the rest of the world, he further stated.
