Ahead of the upcoming Uttarakhand assembly election, Prime Minister Narender Modi is set to visit Dehradun on December 4. The date was revealed by CM Pushkar Singh Dhami after meeting with the BJP National President JP Nadda in Delhi. During the visit, PM Modi will unveil ''a lot of works'' that have been concluded. ''We're expecting a massive crowd given the PM's fondness for Uttarkhand,'' said CM Dhami.
West Bengal (WB) CM Mamata Banerjee is expected to meet PM Narendra Modi, on November 24. Scheduled in New Delhi, during the meeting, CM Banerjee would discuss the Border Security Force (BSF) issues, allowing search and arrest with extended jurisdiction without interference of state and central governments and West Bengal development. Mamata Banerjee is in Delhi since November 22 and is scheduled to return to WB on November 25.
Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath, on November 23, announced that the Noida International Airport will be functional from 2024. Considered to be Asia's largest airport, it will provide employment to one lakh people, and will be pollution-free. The airport is going to have an investment worth Rs 30,000-35,000 crores. PM Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone of the fifth international airport of UP, on November 24 at 1 PM.
Union Minister Pralhad Joshi addressed a press conference and announced that Constitution Day will be celebrated on November 26. Organized by the Lok Sabha Secretariat and Speaker Om Birla, the event would be held at the Central Hall of Parliament. Rakesh Tikait, leader of Bhartiya Kisan Union (BKU) on November 19, said that the farmers will decide to take their agitation back after the three controversial farms laws are be repealed in Parliament. His reaction came after Prime Minister announced that the BJP government has decided to repeal the farm laws in the upcoming winter session.
