"If Allegations Are Proven True...": Canada Minister Amid Row With India

Amid the ongoing Canada v/s India row, the Canadian Defence Minister has called his country's ties with India "important". He, however, also said that his country wants a thorough investigation into the allegations of the Khalistani Nijjar row, and said,""If the allegations are proven true, there is a very significant concern that Canada will have with respect to the violation of our sovereignty."

"I'll Take Big Bold Decision" To Get Britain Back On Track Says UK PM

Prime Minister Boris Johnson on October 3 promised that "he'll take a big bold decision" to transform post-COVID Britain amid the crisis of fuel, gas, and Christmas food crisis. He said a big bold decision means emphasising social care, climate change, and jobs. "We didn't go through Covid to go back to how things were before....Build Back Better means we want things to change and improve," Johnson added.

Need Citizens' Support To Overcome Economic Crisis: Lebanon PM

As Lebanon's economy reeling under economic crisis, incumbent PM Najib Mikati urged the citizens to support his government to overcome the crisis. Mikati said, "The quick fixes need to be done immediately, especially in health, education, energy work, and transparency, and show Lebanese that there is governance. There is transparency". Notably, winning the faith of Lebanese is quite hard as many previous leaders have "failed" to do so.

Belgium: Alexander De Croo to Take Charge As Prime Minister

Alexander De Croo will take charge as the Prime Minister of Belgium on October 1, about 21 months after the former government collapsed. Reportedly, leaders from seven coalition parties met on September 30 and chose De Croo to lead the government. Paul Magnette, one of the leaders in the coalition said, "We flipped a coin and it came down to Alexander and it's an excellent choice."
