Kerala Journalist Expresses Happiness As He Gets Bail After 28 Months In Jail
Kerala Journalist Siddique Kappan expressed happiness as he is finally out of jail after being arrested for over 28 months. On February 1, after two sureties of Rs 1 lakh, the special PMLA Court granted bail to Kappan. He walked out of the Lucknow District Jail on the morning of February 2. "I want to thank the media for supporting me," said Siddique, who was arrested in 2020.

PMLA Court Allows Renal Scan For Nawab Mallick In Judicial Custody
A special PMLA court allowed former Maharashtra minister Nawab Malik, to undergo a renal scan. Notably Malik is under judicial custody in connection with a money laundering case, investigated by ED and CBI. The court had last month also permitted NCP leader Malik to undergo the renal scan, which got cancelled after Malik suffered from fever and other health issues. Special court judge RN Rokade permitted renal scan.

Partha Chatterjee, Associate Arpita Mukherjee's Remand Custody Extended Till Sep 14
The PMLA special court rejected the bail plea of arrested former West Bengal minister Partha Chatterjee and remanded him to judicial custody for 14-days. On August 31, the bench also extended the judicial remand of Chatterjee's associate Arpita Mukherjee for 14-days, till September 14, ordered by Judge Jibon Kumar Sadhu. PMLA Court Remands Sanjay Raut To ED Till August 4: Maharashtra
Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut has been remanded to the Enforcement Directorate (ED) until August 4. Notably, Raut was arrested in a money laundering and land scam case in the redevelopment of Mumbai's Patra Chawl, which is being investigated by the ED. He was arrested on late July 31 evening, after the ED raided his house and seized Rs 11.50 lakhs. A Special PMLA court gave judicial custody orders.

Judicial Custody Of Anil Deshmukh Extended For 14 Days: Maharashtra
In Maharashtra, a special Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) court has extended the judicial custody of former Maharashtra Minister Anil Deshmukh. The custody has now been in effect for the next 14 days, on April 29. It is to be noted that the former Maharashtra Home Minister has been accused in a money laundering case during his tenure. He in being investigated by the Enforcement Directorate.

NCP Leader Nawab Malik's Custody To ED Extended Till April 22
A special PMLA court extended the judicial custody of NCP leader Nawab Malik to the Enforcement Directorate till April 22. Notably, NCP leader and former Maharashtra Minister Malik has been accused of money laundering and connection with the underworld don Dawood Ibrahim, which is being investigated by ED. NCP Leader Nawab Malik's Custody To ED Extended: Maharashtra
Special PMLA Court in Mumbai announced to extend the judicial custody of NCP leader and Maharashtra Minister Nawab . Malik in money laundering case, till March 21. Notably, ED is investigating the alleged link of Malik with gangster Ibrahim Dawood and money laundering case. On March 7, he was produced before the PMLA court.
