PM Narendra Modi said he was pained by the loss of lives in the train derailment in Bihar's Buxar district and extended his condolences to the bereaved families.He said authorities are providing all possible assistance to all those affected. Singapore's Deputy PM Lawrence Wong will visit India on a five-day tour, from September 17. The visit is to deepen the existing cooperation and identify opportunities for mutually beneficial collaboration in new and emerging areas, said PMO on September 16. Notably, the visit will be Wong’s first official visit, during which he will participate in the inaugural of India-Singapore Ministerial Roundtable (ISMR) in New Delhi.

PM Narendra Modi will inaugurate Smriti Van in Bhuj, which celebrates the spirit of resilience shown by people following the 2001 earthquake in Gujarat, during his two-day visit to the state. On August 25, the PMO released a statement confirming PM's visit, starting from August 27. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on June 30, registered three seperate FIRs regarding alleged impersonation of senior officials from the Prime Minister's Office (PMO). According to a senior CBI officials, all the cases are currently being investigated, and the accused will be arrested soon. All three complaints alleged that the accused impersonated as Joint Secretary, Assistant Director and Personal Assistant in PMO.

PM Modi will soon release the benefits under the PM CARES for children scheme, on May 30. Prime Minister's Office (PMO) stated that scholarships will be transferred to school-going students. Under the programme, a passbook of PM CARES for children and health card under Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana will be issued to the children. PMO mentioned that "comprehensive care and protection of children" will be ensured.
On the occasion of International Women's Day, PM Narendra Modi extended greetings and said the government will keep its focus on empowering women through various schemes. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the 12 km Pune metro rail project, following which he took the metro-ride and interacted with onboard school children, on March 6. "It is part of a total 32.2 km Pune Metro rail project. The entire project is built at a total cost of more than Rs 11,400 crore," said PMO.
