3-Months-Old Dies After Poked 51 Times From Iron Rod: MP

In Madhya Pradesh's Shadol district, a shocking incident, which led to the death of a 3-month-old was reported. A 3-month-old baby, suffering from pneumonia died after a quack, poked the baby 51 times with an iron rod on her stomach, as a part of the pneumonia treatment. Treating pneumonia with an iron rod is a blind faith followed by people residing in tribal-dominated regions in MP.

"It is with deep sorrow, I inform you about the passing away of Shri Rahul Bajaj, husband of late Rupa Bajaj", said Bajaj Group. Rahul Bajaj died while undergoing treatment for Pneumonia. Meanwhile, Rahul Bajaj, who resigned as Bajaj Chairman in 2021, held the position for 40-years and was also an awardee of Padma Bhushan (2001).

Lata Mangeshkar Still In ICU; Doctor Says Health Deteriorating

Legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar's health is worsening, following which she has been put on ventilator. On February 5, doctors at Breach Candy Hospital, Mumbai confirmed the same and said, she is undergoing treatment under the doctor's supervision, in the ICU. Notably, Ms Mangeshkar was admitted to the Mumbai hospital, on January 11, after she was diagnosed of COVID-19, following which she also got pneumonia and is undergoing treatment.

Legendary Singer Lata Mangeshkar's health condition is improving, under the team of doctors headed by Dr. Pratit Samdani. According to the family statement, issued on January 27, "Lata didi continues to be in the ICU at Breach Candy Hospital, Mumbai under treatment. We thank each one of for your prayers and good wishes". Notably, the 92-year-old was admitted on January 8, after being diagnosed with COVID-19 and later pneumonia.

Later, the 92-year-old singer was also diagnosed with pneumonia and is currently being treated in the ICU.

22-Day-Old Baby Defeats COVID-19 In Two Weeks

In a miraculous instance, a 22-day-old baby, born at private Yashoda hospital in Ghaziabad's Nehru Nagar in UP, has recovered from COVID-19. As per sources, the baby was found infected with coronavirus eight days after being born on April 5, and was brought to hospital again by the grandmother. Suffering from pneumonia in the right lung, the baby reportedly contracted the virus via the parents, who have also tested positive.
