Amit Shah has suggested that Indians should read philosopher and poet Sri Aurobindo's works to understand the nation's soul. He stressed that, while other countries are based on resolutions, India is one such country which is based on culture. Shah noted, "If we understand his message, he gave a different description of India." He made these remarks during a program to mark the poet's 150th birth anniversary.
