7 Factory Workers Consume Poison During Protest Over Salary Due In Indore: Madhya Pradesh

In Madhya Pradesh’s Indore, seven factory workers consumed poison during a protest against delay in disbursal of salaries. Sub-Inspector Ajay Singh Kushwaha informed that after the factory workers consumed an unknown poisonous substance, they were rushed to the government-run MY hospital, where they are currently out of danger. A preliminary investigation revealed that their salaries had not been paid since past two months.

Canada To Introduce Printed Warning 'Poison In Every Puff' On Every Cigarette

In response to concerns that pictorial warnings on cigarette packets losing their effectiveness, Canada is preparing to become the first country in the world to implement a written warning on every cigarette. The revisions are expected to take effect in the second half of 2023. While the precise slogan may alter, the present suggestion is "Poison in every puff," according to the minister of mental health and addictions.

6 Teenagers Consume Poison In Aurangabad, Investigation Underway

In Bihar's Aurangabad region, six teenagers (12-16-year-old) allegedly consumed poison, trying to suicide. Of the all, three died, two are out of danger and one is said to be in critical condition at Magadh Medical College, confirmed police on April 9. Although the actual reason behind the drastic step is yet to be known, villagers said it to be a matter of one-sided love. The police are investigating the matter.

Coach Injects Poisonous Substance, Bengaluru Boy Loses Forearm

A 17-year-old boy who had gone to attend his coach's birthday party on May 31 in Bengaluru, lost his forearm due to "poisoning". The boy told his family that his coach injected some substance into his right arm. Later, when the family took him to the hospital, doctors confirmed about the poison, and stated that the forearm needed amputation. A case has been registered and action will be taken, said police.

Australia Hit With Mice Plague, Orders Banned Poison From India

Australia’s New South Wales and the Queensland state are hit with mice infestation making it the worst plague attack in decades. The outbreak has scared the agriculture industries in the areas. Acting on it, the NSW government ordered 5,000 liters of banned poison ‘Bromadiolone’ from India that kills mice in 24 hours.
