Police Open Fire At 'Peaceful' Protestors In PoK's Poonch: Pakistan
In the Poonch area of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), police opened fire at peaceful protestors, on July 21. Several protestors were injured, and the death toll has not been revealed. As per sources, at least 65 arrested have been made, and 30 people have been booked under anti-terror laws. The protest broke out to revolt against high inflation and denial of basic human rights by Pakistan authorities, reported ANI.

US Congresswoman Ilhan Omar's Pak Visit Doesn't Represent US: Official
After India slammed controversial US Congresswoman Ilhan Omar for making a visit to the Pakistan-occupied region of Kashmir, a US official has clarified that her Pakistan visit does not represent the US. Derek Chollet, the Counselor to the US Secretary of State, has described it as just a personal, unofficial visit. The Democratic Party congresswoman has been on a four-day visit to Pakistan.

India Slams Pak, Says J&K And Ladakh Are India's Integral Part
First Secretary Sneha Dubey of India on September 25 gave a befitting reply to Pakistani PM Imran Khan's statement on Kashmir at the UN. She slammed Pak for “openly supporting, training and financing and arming terrorists" as a matter of State Policy. She also stressed the point that the UTs of J&K and Ladakh “were, are and will always be an integral and inalienable part of India".

'Pakistan Needs To Vacate PoK': India's Envoy To United Nations
Unites Nations India's envoy TS Trimurti has said that Pakistan should leave Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). Besides, he reminded that Islamabad is under obligation to create a terror-free environment so that the two nations can talk. "Jammu and Kashmir is an integral and inalienable part of India. If there needs to be a change in status, it is the vacation of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir," Trimurti said during the August agenda of UNSC.

India Terms Election In PoK As 'Cosmetic Exercise'; Lodges Protest
Following the election in Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) on July 25, Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Arindam Bagchi has termed it a ''cosmetic exercise'' and also held a strong protest with the Pakistani officials on July 29. Bagchi added, that the elections “are nothing but an attempt by Pakistan to camouflage its illegal occupation.'' However, Pakistan PM Imran Khan's PTI won the elections with 25 seats.

Kashmir: Indian Army Opens Cafe Near Kaman Aman Setu At LOC In Uri
Signifying peace between India and Pakistan, the Indian Army on May 18 has opened a new cafe in the Uri sector of LOC in Kashmir. The cafe is near the Kaman Aman Setu, which worked as a travel and trade route between India and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. "After taking a selfie at the bridge, people can come and have snacks," stated Indian Army Major Vishal Dev.

Indian Army's Senior Official Denies Reports Claiming Strikes In PoK
Indian Army's senior official Lieutenant General Paramjit Singh has denied those reports, which claimed that the Indian Army on November 19 launched a "pinpoint strike" at certain locations in Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir (PoK). Earlier, few reports surfaced in media that stated an military operation was being carried out to destroy the suspected terrorist hideouts in the area. Pakistan has been frequently violating the ceasefire lately.
