Recently, a video is making rounds in social media, in which an Indian citizen is questioned like, "Why are you in Poland?" The identity of the attacker and victim, the Indian man is not yet established, but in the video, the abuser was calling himself an American.

UK To Send 2 Mn Pounds Worth Food Supplies To Ukraine, Says Foreign Ministry

Amid the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war, the government of UK has approved supply of vital good supplies worth two million pounds to warn-torn Ukraine. The supplies will reportedly be transported through road and rail. According to UK's Foreign Ministry, over 12 million people in Ukraine require humanitarian assistance. Also, warehouses in Poland and Slovakia are being readied to facilitate a smoother supply of goods from UK to Ukraine.

Poland Mandates 14-Day Quarantine For Non-EU Travelers: Omicron Scare

Poland has imposed a mandatory 14-day quarantine for travelers from non-European countries. Health minister Adam Niedzielski announced a ban on flights from seven African countries affected by the Omicron variant of Covid-19. The quarantined travelers will be free to leave if they test negative after eight days, he said. Notably, Poland had a 10-day mandatory quarantine rule, which has now become 14 days.

French Women Aged 25 To Receive Free Contraceptive From Govt 

The French government plans to provide free contraceptives to women aged up to 25, by 2022 to prevent unwanted pregnancies. The budget allotted for this initiative is USD 25 million including consultation over contraceptives. However, the decision for free contraceptives comes in order to support women in the cost of protection against pregnancy. Earlier, France provided free pills to 18-years-old while now it is extended to 25.

500 Afghans Can Stay In Poland But Only For Three Months: Govt

Poland will provide accommodation to about 500 Afghan evacuees, in the country for three months, who worked for NATO, said PM Mateusz Moraickit's close aide Michal Dworaczyk on September 3. After three months, up to 50 persons will get a chance to stay in Poland and the rest have to leave the country, Dworaczyk added. Besides, Poland has evacuated around 1,300 afghans from Kabul.

Polish President Andrzej Duda Quarantined After Testing Positive For COVID-19

The Polish Presidential minister Blazej Spychalski confirmed that country's President Andrzej Duda tested positive for the COVID-19. He added that the 48-year-old is quarantined and is under medical observation.
