Officer Bearer Of Shiv Sena Attacked In Nashik City
In Nashik, a few unidentified people attacked an office-bearer Nilesh alias Bala Kokane of the Shiv Sena, confirmed police on July 19. Nilesh sustained serious injuries and has been shifted to a nearby hospital. The attack happened on July 18, at MG Road Office of Shiv-Sena, when Kokane was riding his two-wheeler. The police registered a case and patrolling squads of Bhadrakali and Sarkarwada police stations have been alerted.

Assam Police Seizes Drugs Worth Rs 80 Lakhs, Arrests 2
In Assam's Karbi Anglong district, the police seized heroin worth Rs 80 lakh and arrested two persons, including one woman, confirmed police on July 15. The arrest was made after a police patrolling team suspected two, one from Bihar and a local woman. After search, they recovered 122.22 gms of the narcotic, hidden in soap boxes, and around Rs 5,000. The police registered a case and launched an investigation.

Dhaka Police To Give Secutity To Hindu Temples: Communal Violence
Md Shafiqul Islam, the commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police, on October 26 issued an order to tighten security at temples and other places of worship in the city to avert further communal violence. The decision was taken in a review meeting to discuss the recent anti-Hindu incidents in Bangladesh. Reportedly, police patrols have been enhanced at puja locations, and the cybercrime department has been directed to monitor social media.
