UP Gangster's Daughter Died After Police Raid, SHO Suspended

In Uttar Pradesh's Chandauli, gangster Kanhaiya Yadav's eldest daughter died after police raided Yadav's house, on May 1. According to ANI, a police officer has been alleged of thrashed Kanhaiya's two daughters, due to which one died on spot and the other received serious injuries. Banned Methamphetamine Tablets Worth Rs 30 Cr Seized: Myanmar

The Aizawl Police carried out searches based on a specific input and recovered the contraband tablet of Methamphetamine worth Rs 30 crore in Farkawn village, Champhai district bordering Myanmar. Raids were conducted on the night of April 4, and information over the seized items from a women drug peddler was confirmed on April 5. Approximately, five persons including a Myanmar national, were arrested, and an investigation is underway.

Police Raid Illegal Arms Factory In UP's Ghaziabad; 5 Arrested, Weapons Seized

In UP's Ghaziabad, police conducted a raid in an illegal arms factory based on a tip-off, on December 21. The raid was conducted at the basement of a house in Muradnagar area. Reportedly, five persons were arrested and three managed to escape. According to ASP Akash Patel, police have recovered 15 country-made pistols, 12 barrels of pistols, two barrels of .12 bore and five magazines of .32 bore pistols.

Hathras Police Bust Factory For Adulterating Spices With Donkey Dung

Uttar Pradesh’s Hathras police have busted a bogus spice factory that adulterated the spices with illicit ingredients like donkey dung, inedible colours and acid. Jabalpur Police Raids Congress Member House, Arrest 41, Seize Arms

Jabalpur Police on November 7 arrested forty one people, including a Congress member Gajendra Sonkar, for their alleged involvement in gambling. The police have also seized 17 unlicensed arms and 1478 ammunitions, Rs 7.5 lakh cash and antlers of deer after they carried out a raid at a house in Jabalpur. Sonkar, who is also the owner of the house, has already been facing other criminal charges against him.
