Ornaments Worth Rs 80 Lakhs Go Missing From Kurnool Police Station
In a shocking incident, gold and silver ornaments worth Rs 80 lakhs go missing from Kurnool Police Station in Andhra Pradesh. Notably, two years ago, the Kurnool Police seized the ornaments and kept them in an almirah under the security of a lady constable. Recently, the police were asked to release the confiscated items, when they found that ornaments are missing, raising security concerns. Investigation into the matter is underway.

Farmers Call For Protest At Jantar Mantar, Police Beef Up Security
The Delhi police have tightened security at Jantar Mantar, Ghaziabad and Singhu border, amid farmers' protest. Notably, on August 22, farmers are scheduled to hold protests against unemployment, due to which, the Uttar Pradesh and Delhi Police have been on alert.
