In a shocking incident an angry mob set the police station on fire in Bihar's Muzaffarpur. In the video, the mob set fire to the police station after a minor boy died after police raid for liquor in the state. The boy started running after spotting the police that came to raid the place. The boy died after falling into a pit while running from the police.

Every Police Station To Have 1 Women SHO: Yogi Adityanath
In a significant move and a boost to the message of women's reservation in policing, Yogi Adityanath, the CM of Uttar Pradesh said women police officers should be appointed to head at least one police station in every district apart from the existing woman police station. Mob Attacks Junagadh Police Station Amid Illegal Dargah Construction Notice
In Gujarat's Junagadh region, a group of mob attacked police officials at a police station. In the viral incident, angry people were seen pelting stones, and attacking officials. In the violent attack, one person died whereas several got injured in the violence which broke out after the police issued a notice amid illegal construction of a dargah in the locality. In the incident, police deployed RPF and detained 200 people.

Miscreants set fire to Kaliaganj police station in West Bengal’s Uttar Dinajpur district, protesting the death of a teenage girl whose body was found in a canal last week. People allegedly from the Adivasi and Rajbangshi communities organised a "Thana gherao" programme, claiming that the girl was raped and murdered.

Bomb Hurled Into Police Station In J&K's Badgam District
In Jammu and Kashmir's Badgam district, a hand grenade was allegedly hurled into a police station by militants, on April 19. The police reported that no injuries were caused due to the blast, since the bomb went off near the gate of the station. Following the incident, the area has been cordoned off and a search operation has been initiated.

Kerala Man Murders & Dumps Body In Front Of Police Station: Kottayam
Kerala Police arrested a man in connection with the murder and dumping of a youth's body in front of a police station in Kottayam, on January 17. The accused has been arrested and has reportedly confessed to the crime, and says he acted alone, said Superintendent of Police Shilpa Dyavaiah. "We suspect someone else’s involvement in the crime too," said the SP. Further investigation on the matter is underway.

2 Shot Dead In UP's Agra Village Over Water Dispute
In Chitrapura Village of Uttar Pradesh's Agra district, two men, Mahesh and Dinesh, were shot dead on December 16 over a dispute related to water entering their field from another field. Mumbai Man Committ Suicide After Female Friend Missed Call
Manav Lalwani, a 24-years-old resident of Deonar, Mumbai, committed suicide after his female friend missed his call. Cop Booked After 578 Wine Cartons Went Missing From Police station: UP
Following the order of a superintendent of Police in Uttar Pradesh's Kairana Police Station, a woman Head Constable Taresh Sharma, was booked for the breach of trust by a public servant under section 409, said officials on December 4.
