Telangana Woman Commits Suicide After Alleging 4 Cops Of Rape
A 23-year-old woman consumed poison as she was allegedly gang-raped by four policemen, on February 17 and 18. In addition, A writ petition was filed in Mahabubabad district in Telangana, on February 23. The victim was gang-raped for two days when she had gone to her friend’s house for a sleepover. Notably, the police have held 3 suspects and the victim’s body is sent for medical examination for further investigation.

2 Policemen Die In Firing Of Militants In J&K's Bandipora District
In Jammu and Kashmir's Bandipora district, two policemen died after militants fired on them, said officials on December 10. The firing took place at the Gulshan Chowk in the same evening. Reportedly, the injured policemen were rushed to a hospital but they succumbed to their injuries. The area has been cordoned off and a searches operation has also been launched, added the official.
