Mumbai’s AQI Indicates Poor Category For The Next Two Days
Mumbai reported an Air Quality Index (AQI) of 286 on May 20, after registering an AQI of 309 on May 19. An AQI between 201 and 300 is considered "poor." Except for Malad and Mazgaon, which had "very poor" AQI, all of the remaining locations had poor AQI. The AQI is expected to continue in this range for the following two days.

Delhi's Air Quality Recorded In 'Very Poor' Category
The overall Air Quality Index (AQI) of Delhi continued to drop and again recorded in the 'very poor' category as it stands at 301 on December 11. Reportedly, PM 10 was at 217 in the 'moderate' category, while PM 2.5 was at 121 in the 'very poor' category at 9:17 AM. Besides, AQI of Noida and Gurugram also remained in the same category at 301 and 303, respectively.

Delhi's AQI At 'Very Poor' Category, Likely To Drop To 'Severe' Category: SAFAR
The AQI in Delhi dropped to 386 in the "very poor" category on November 27. As per SAFAR, the AQI of Gurugram and Noida was recorded to be 355 and 391 respectively, in the "very poor" category. Delhi's Air Quality Drops To 'Poor', Likely To Decline Further To 'Very Poor'
Air quality in Delhi dropped from "moderate" to "poor" on October 28. According to the Centre-run System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting And Research (SAFAR), it is expected to fall into the "very poor" category by October 29. One of the primary causes of the critical situation is stubble burning. Delhi's Air Quality Index (AQI) was 232 around 4 p.m. on October 27, as per Central Pollution Control Board.

AQI In Delhi, Adjoining Areas Mounts To 'Very Poor,' 'Severe' Level
In the air quality data for February 13 published by Central Pollution Control Board, Ghaziabad had the polluted air as it reached ‘severe’ level with 401 AQI. While the AQI level in Ghaziabad was 401, Noida and Greater Noida recorded 386 and 363 in ‘very poor’ category. Besides, Faridabad and Gurgaon recorded a dismal 362 and 310 AQI. Moreover, the CPCB said that ‘very poor’ AQI may cause respiratory problems on prolonged exposure.
