Posco Act

A man was convicted under the Protection Of Children From Sexual Offences Act by the Orissa High Court for sexually assaulting a teenage girl. The one-judge bench stated, "The vulture-like appellant committed the ghastliest crime known under the sky on her in presence of her sister". He was sentenced under Section 341 (wrongful restraint) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 (penetrative sexual assault) of POCSO Act.
