Padma Shri Milkha Singh Dies Of Post-Covid Complications At 91
Padma Shri Milkha Singh on June 18, died due to post-Covid complications in Chandigarh. The 91-year-old sprinter was earlier admitted in Mohali’s Fortis hospital on May 24, because of “COVID Pneumonia”. However, he was tested negative but his condition turned critical on June 18, and was suffering from fever and dip in oxygen saturation levels. Besides, the sports fraternity over Twitter paid tribute to the legendary athlete.

Punjab’s Bathinda and Ludhiana has reported numerous cases of post-COVID multi-system inflammatory syndrome in children (MIS-C).
