Air India Proposes To Re-Hire Pilots Post Retirement For 5 Years

Air India, which is controlled by the Tata Group, has decided to re-hire pilots after they retire for a five-year term as the airline seeks operational stability amid discussions of purchasing 300 single-aisle planes. The post-retirement contract as a commander in Air India will be for 5 years or until the age of 65. Prospective pilots have been instructed to submit their documentation, and written consent, by June 23.
