NEET UG 2022 Aspiranats Demands Postponement Of Exams

The students appearing for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2022 demanded to postpone the exams.  The demand grew louder on the correction window application of the National Test Agency (NTA). As of now, the NEET UG is scheduled to be held on July 17, in India. However, considering less gap between the JEE and NEET, students demanded postponement and started trending #PostponeNEET UG2022.

1st ODI Between South Africa-England Postponed As Player Tests COVID+

Just before the first ODI match between South Africa and England on December 3 was about to begin, a player from the former's camp tested positive for COVID-19. Citing this development, the match was cancelled immediately and is rescheduled to December 6. However, the name was the player was not disclosed by officials. Earlier, two Proteas players were ruled out of the series after testing positive for COVID-19.

Wrestling Federation Of India Pushes National Championship To January 2021

Owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, the National Wrestling Championship, which was scheduled for December 18-20 in Uttar Pradesh's Gonda district, has been postponed by the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI). The tournament is now expected to be held towards the end of January next year. The federation can also change the venue of the tournament if other states show willingness in hosting it.

Premier Badminton League Postponed Due To COVID-19

BWF World Tour 2020's Asian Leg Shifted to January 2021

The Badminton World Federation (BWF) shifted the Asian Leg of the World Tour 2020 to next year due to logistical complexities. The event, earlier planned to be held in Indonesia in November 2020, will now be held from January 13-24, 2021 in Thailand. Earlier, it postponed Thomas and Uber Cup since most teams withdrew. Further, the BWF officials stated that the delay would affect world rankings and 2021 tournament calendar.

The 51st Edition Of IFFI Moves To January 2021 

The Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar on September 24 announced that the 51st edition of the International Film Festival of India has been postponed to January 16-24, 2021.
