Pulwama Kashmir gets first Gas Insulated Substation to improve power supply

India's Electricity Demand Reaches All-Time High With 189.6 GW On Jan 30
India on January 30 recorded its all-time high demand for electricity with registering 189.6 GW of power. It broke the recent record of 188.4 GW made on January 28. Interestingly, in FY19, the peak power demand was recorded at 168.74 GW. Moreover, the Economic Survey 2021 has also stated that the power sector has registered positive growth since September 2020. Besides, it has predicted a V-shape recovery for the sector this year as well.
