President Kovind Pays Tribute To Pranab Mukherjee Over His Birth Anniversary

President Ram Nath Kovind on December 11, paid floral tribute to former President Pranab Mukherjee on his 86th birth anniversary at Uttarakhand's Rajbhavan. Besides, other Union ministers along with Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu also paid tribute to the former President. Mukherjee was born in 1935 in West Bengal and passed away on August 3, 2020. Moreover, he was conferred Bharat Ratna in 2019.

Popularly called as 'Pranab Da', the former president had been in coma after a brain surgery earlier this month. But, his conditions deteriorated since August 31 morning following a septic shock caused by his lung infection. He was tested COVID-19 positive as well.
