Sonia Gandhi To Decide On Poll Strategist Prashant Kishore's Induction In Congress

Speculations of poll strategist Prashant Kishore's induction into the Indian National Congress (INC) is making rounds. In regard to this, interim president Sonia Gandhi will take the final decision, on whether Prashant Kishore will join Congress for the 2024 elections or not, on April 19. Furthermore, recently, on April 18, Kishore met with Gandhi at her residence in Delhi, and it was their third meeting in the past few weeks.

Prashant Kishor Can Join Congress But Will Abide By Our Constitution: Harish Rawat

Reacting to speculations of poll strategist Prashant Kishor joining Congress, CWC member Harish Rawat said that he is welcome to join the party "as a worker". Rawat also clarified that Kishor after joining the party, cannot insist that Congress should function in a particular manner. “If Prashant Kishor feels he can play an important role through Congress, he is always welcome. But he will abide by our constitution,” he said.

Prashant Kishor's 23-Member I-PAC Team Detained In Tripura

Tripura Police on July 26 detained 23 members of election analyst Prashant Kishor's I-PAC team at Woodland Park Hotel in Agartala, the reason for their detention is still not confirmed. West Tripura's SP Manik Das, informed that the team was in the state for "some research-related work." President of the Tripura unit of Trinamool Congress, Ashish Lal Singha, termed the incident an attack on democracy.
