Senior obstetrician and gynaecologist Dr Pratibha Reddy suggests to drink at least three litres of water during pregnancy in summers. Pratibha recommends the pregnant women to take a nap in the heat hours and wear loose cotton clothes with comfortable footwear to manage the sweat.
