Shashi Tharoor To File Congress Presidential Nomination On Sep 30
Congress MP Shashi Tharoor, met with the Congress Secretary Madhusudan Mistry and collected nomination papers, on September 24. The senior party leader, who confirmed to contest the Presidential elections is likely to file his nomination on September 30. Furthermore, this will be the first time in two decades, that a non Gandhi will be party president, after elections scheduled on October 17, with results on October 18.

Congress Presidential Election Notification Releases On Sep 22
The All India Congress Committee (AICC) issued an official notification regarding the Congress presidential elections. On September 22, the AICC issued the notification, which mentioned the nomination process to begin on September 23-September 30. The scrutiny will be done on October 1, and last date to withdraw nomination is on October 8. The election will be held on October 17 and results will be out on October 19.

Ashok Gehlot Meets Sonia Gandhi Regarding Congress Presidential Elections
After Shashi Tharoor, Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot met Indian National Congress President Sonia Gandhi, in Delhi. On September 20, Gehlot met Gandhi, regarding the Congress presidential elections, scheduled on October 17. Furthermore, if sources to be believed, Ashok Gehlot, the senior most leader of Congress will file his nomination. If filed, Gehlot will contest opposite Shashi Tharoor, the Congress MP from Thiruvananthapuram.

Draupadi Murmu Officially Becomes President Of India, Announces PC Mody
Draupadi Murmu, the NDA candidate has officially been declared as the 15th President of India, after winning with a huge margin against Yashwant Sinha. Presidential Elections Result; Counting Of Votes To Begin At 11 AM
India is all set to get its 15th President, as the counting of votes for the presidential elections are underway, on July 21. The counting of ballot papers for NDA and UPA candidates, Draupadi Murmu and Yashwant Sinha, respectively, will be held at the Parliament House. The returning officers (ROs) will separate the votes of 729 MPs and 9 MLAs, following which counting will begin at 11 AM.

Presidential Elections 2022: Draupadi Murmu & Yashwant Sinha In Fray
The NDA candidate Draupadi Murmu and the UPA candidate Yashwant Sinha are all set to face the Presidential elections, on July 18. The result of the 2022 elections will be announced on July 21, and the new president will take the oath on July 25. Approximately, 4,800 MPs will be voting in Parliament house, and state legislative. AAP To Support Yashwant Sinha For 2022 Presidential Polls
The Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has announced to support Yashwant Sinha, the Presidential candidate of the opposition, the United Progressive Alliance (UPA.) Earlier, on July 16, the Patry held a meeting, attended by CM Arvind Kejriwal, Deputy CM Manish Sisodia and others to discuss the upcoming presidential polls. AAP To Hold PAC Meeting, Discuss Presidential Candidate Support
Aam Aadmi Party's political advisory committee(PAC) is set to meet on July 16, to discuss about the Presidential elections and their support to the candidate. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and other members of the PAC, including Deputy CM Manish Sisodia, Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh, Punjab MP Raghav Chadha, and MLA Atishi will attend the PAC meeting.
