Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has been admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi on October 13. As per sources, the former PM is having a mild fever for the past two days and was feeling weak. Reportedly, he has undergone some medical tests. Singh has now been admitted at AIIMS for better medical care.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched the 'Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission' via video conference on September 27 at 11 AM from PMO in New Delhi. Under the mission, the government will create a unique health ID for every citizen that will be the key to access the health records of citizens with their consent. As per reports, Nepali Congress leader Sher Bahadur Deuba has become Nepal's Prime Minister for the fifth time on July 13. President Bidya Devi appointed him under Article 76(5) of the Constitution. Deuba needs to obtain a majority in the vote of confidence from the house, within 30 days. The 74-year-old politician had previously been the PM in intervals during 1995 to 2018.

The Union Cabinet has approved the Model Tenancy Act, 2021 that aims to modify the legal framework of rental housing across India. Consisting 47 sections and two schedules, the act focuses upon securing the "interests and rights of both the landlord and tenant" by making tenancy agreement compulsory.
